Kate Sheppard Place Women (KSPW) is a registered charitable trust (CC55245) that promotes the benefits and opportunities of intersectionality and diversity, specifically around gender and inclusivity.
This kaupapa is at the centre of everything we do. From team recruitment, volunteer management and speaker curation, to the selection of service providers and production of our flagship event every year.
Our annual event is an inclusive conference with representation from many of our communities in Aotearoa, who don’t often get access to the same platforms as those with voices in the mainstream. This includes, but is not limited to, Māori, Pacifika, Rainbow, disabled and immigrants.
It is a place to learn.
It is a place to inspire.
It is a place to empower.
We seek to be a social example of what things could look and feel like if we had diversity,
intersectionality and inclusivity at the core of everything we do. Our next event is on the 9th of March 2019, so come along for sharing, learning and inspiration!
